.So I am pretty much in LOVE with this idea and while I don't currently have a dining room table (sad), I can still pretend.
.According to the article from Country Living, all you need is wax, wicks, putty & a candy thermometer, all of which can be found at a craft store like Michaels. The article has more detailed information on the process....

emily-cute post! candle making is easy + fun! Grab an old cooking pot for melting your wax at a 2nd hand store & collect fun little containers along the way! i am still hoping to stumble upon egg holders in my travels ...... BTW: great inspiring blog!

good idea on the cooking pot... I guess Antrhopologie has some really good cups & saucers, but I didn't look for egg holders.
